Jackie and Peter have a long distance relationship. Peter is a Marine, stationed in Camp Pendleton in San Diego, and Jackie lives in Texas. I know all too well about how tough long distance can be, because Cameron and I were long distance for six months. It was the longest six months of our relationship. We still refer to it as “the dark ages” as dramatic as that sounds! So when they approached me to take their engagement photos for Jackie’s birthday trip to San Francisco, I knew Baker Beach would be a favorite location for them. It was wonderful to capture the love between these two. After spending several long weeks apart, getting to visit SF and enjoy their time together does wonders for rekindling affection. I was enjoying every moment with them, and getting to learn about their love story through my lens.
